Week 37! - 21 days left
At this point, the baby should be full-term. If he decided he wanted to be born today, he would be just fine. He should weigh around 6-1/3lbs and be around 19 inches long. Heather went for her weekly checkup and the doctor said that he is turned correctly and doing great. His heartbeat is normal and all signs indicate he is going to be a very healthy baby.
When the baby comes.
Just so all of you know, I will post everything I can once the baby comes. I will post pictures and a complete story about the delivery. Well, not the complete story, but at least enough to fill your wondering minds with splendor over our amazing little person.
Also, feel free to post comments, you own photos or any other particular you might consider a contribution to this blog. My hope is that I keep it going all the way up to and past when our baby is old enough to read and see all the cool things about his life.

We are now at 36 weeks. We are so excited I can’t even put it into words. The baby is head down and visibly running out of room. He has been locked into his current position for around two weeks now. It is so unreal seeing him kick and move around. It looks like he is going to be really strong. I am so proud of Heather for being such a great mom taking care of our baby. I just feel so badly for her not getting sleep and having all the usual problems pregnant women have during these last few weeks before the delivery. So if he comes on time, he should be here in three weeks! THREE WEEKS!
Rocker/Glider
Check out this rocker/glider we have from Heather’s grandmother. Heather picked out some really cool fabric and Heather’s mom had the padding reupholstered. I think it looks pretty awesome. You are probably thinking to yourself, “why in the world would they pick white for the color?” Well, I will tell you. Our plan is to Scotchguard it heavily and second, if we decide to have another baby and it happens to be a girl, the color will work well with a few accent pillows for the girl’s room.
Bassinet
Some reason I missed the photo of the bassinet that we received from my mom. Here is a nice picture of me taking it for a spin. Now baby Matt has somewhere to lay his little head until we get the crib set up. No, it doesn’t have a Hemi.
Blog Update - baby’s name
I decided to redo the “vote for baby’s name” poll. You can now vote for the new set of names and even add your own name idea. I tried to do this last time, but apparently did not set it up correctly. On the last poll, there were 19 votes with Harrison being the favorite name.
Let’s try this poll again and see what happens. Again, feel free to add a name if you think it would be a great name. Right now, we are trying to find something a bit different than the norm, but of possible English descent.

Heather’s family gave her an awesome baby shower with an outer space theme on Saturday. I am still amazed how much love and support people are giving us and our baby. He is going to be so spoiled when he gets here. Thank you all so much for everything!
