At first we were a little worried about how Thomas would act when we brought Oliver home. I think Thomas was a little reluctant at first, but after we got home and all settled in, we made the introduction (not including the short visit at the hospital). Thomas was very accepting and offered a kiss for his little bro. Now he won’t stop giving kisses. It’s been only a few days and I can guarantee Thomas has willingly offered over a thousand kisses for his little brother. It’s too cute to say the least. Here’s to the future and hoping they become the best of friends.

Welcome to our family Oliver Emerson Daniel. He was born April 27, 2010 at 4:49am. He weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 19 inches long. Mommy did a great job during labor and everything went well. We are all home now settling down and finding our new routine.

Thomas had fun riding on his Lil Kawasaki Power Wheel. It has a single button that allows him to go forward but it does not go in reverse. It rolls at a top speed of around 2mph and that might be on a downhill slope. It works better on a flat hard surface such as the driveway but works fine in the yard. Thomas gets on and off easily and loves riding or pushing it.

Thomas went to the zoo and enjoyed visiting with all the animals. He had fun petting the goats, sheep and pigs in the Kids Zone. His favorite part of the day was the ride on the train and the carousel. Overall, he had lots of fun seeing the animals.
