I got Thomas this cool light. The one that I got him is a blue one. I noticed how much he enjoyed looking at the screen on my cell phone. He absolutely loves it. Its smooth surface allows him to munch on it without hurting himself. We also plug it in for now and use it as a nightlight for his room. It really lights up the room on the bright setting. So far I am loving this thing. It says it can last up to ten hours. I have not tested it, but I am happy with it and needless to say Thomas is.

Many have asked about Thomas’ pacifier. It is quite unique I must agree. He received it when he was a newborn at the hospital. After looking closely at it, I discovered that it is called Gum Drop. The website is, www.gumdroppacifier.com. We have four pacifiers other than this one and I will go out of my way to grab this one. It’s easy to wash and Thomas seems to like it better than the other ones. The hospital definitely picked a winner when picking out this pacifier. And for those of you reading this and you have not had children, you don’t even know how important this little device really is. As a parent, you will run five miles through the rain to find the pacifier. And if you have the Gum Drop pacifier, you would do it up hill both ways.

Check out this rocker/glider we have from Heather’s grandmother. Heather picked out some really cool fabric and Heather’s mom had the padding reupholstered. I think it looks pretty awesome. You are probably thinking to yourself, “why in the world would they pick white for the color?” Well, I will tell you. Our plan is to Scotchguard it heavily and second, if we decide to have another baby and it happens to be a girl, the color will work well with a few accent pillows for the girl’s room.

Some reason I missed the photo of the bassinet that we received from my mom. Here is a nice picture of me taking it for a spin. Now baby Matt has somewhere to lay his little head until we get the crib set up. No, it doesn’t have a Hemi.

Heather’s family gave her an awesome baby shower with an outer space theme on Saturday. I am still amazed how much love and support people are giving us and our baby. He is going to be so spoiled when he gets here. Thank you all so much for everything!

Heather and I had a wonderful time at my mom’s house on July 27th. My mom set up a surprise baby shower for Heather with my side of the family. My family was there to celebrate and bring their generous gifts for the baby. We are so thankful for all the love and support and we can’t be grateful enough for such wonderful gifts.
