FIRST EMPEROR – CHINA’S TERRACOTTA ARMY
Posted by MatthewWe had an exciting day at the High Saturday with Thomas. He had his first exposure to art and joined us with our first experience of First Emeror – China’s Terracotta Army.
It was such a beautiful day. We parked several blocks away and pushed Thomas in the stroller taking in the Spring sun. We got to the High and got our time slot appointed. We had over an hour to kill so we decided to take Thomas to the Modern Art exhibit. He did not seem too interested, but it is a little early for him to be taking notice of art. But what can I say, we have to start somewhere right?
Once we go to the First Emperor exhibit it was great. We saw the terracotta statues as they would have been seen hundreds of years ago. Being that close to history is so amazing.
