I am an experienced art director and graphic designer with an aptitude for generating creative ideas. I research and collect data providing problem-solving design ideation. Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills and enjoy working cross-functionally with multiple teams simultaneously. Capable of managing numerous projects, working independently as a self-starter, and structuring prioritization of project tasks to meet tight deadlines for multi-million dollar projects. Possess a strong understanding of design principles, layout, fonts, color theory, and the limitations associated with delivering creative for multiple media outlets. I have created materials for print, web, and motion graphics and keep up with current industry trends. Able to manage and coordinate graphic design projects from concept through completion.

  • For private brand items, increased gross demand 23.7%, increased net sales 21.2%, increased orders 23.7%, increased product page visits 26.1%.
  • Manage a team of web designers, a manager, project managers, illustrators, and 3D artists creating assets for homedepot.com.
  • I write really cool scripts for InDesign that automate the creation of multiple documents with unique data pulled from The Home Depot's product database.
  • I create web-based tools that query multiple APIs automating the pulling of product information so that it can be organized for the scripts I wrote for InDesign automatically creating multipage documents.
  • Provide creative direction for the team of designers following a set of brand guidelines I created that match the standards of homedepot.com.
  • Work cross-functionally with UX, Category Experience, Brand Advocates, CRM, Social, Packaging, OLA, Print, and Signage to align creative and share tools.
  • Track all projects through Workfront capturing data such as project timelines, hours logged, proofs, and amount of product pages enriched. Create automated reporting using the Workfront tools to track quarterly and yearly goals.

Delta Air Lines

Senior Graphic Designer

March 2008 - August 2015

  • Design images, advertising, promotional material, web-based media, motion graphics, and airport signage using leading-edge design software both domestically and internationally supporting multiple divisions within Delta utilizing all current brand identity standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external clients, vendors, and agency partners while determining appropriate production methods, material requirements, brand adherence, and cost estimates.
  • Successfully designed all physical and digital airport signage for Delta’s Sky Priority program to be used in over 350 airports worldwide.
  • Designed user interface for a giant tablet device to showcase Delta products and services to be used in multiple locations.
  • Designed motion graphics for stadium LED signage to support sponsorship of baseball, football, hockey, basketball, and soccer.
  • Support the US Marketing team with creating all internal channels such as in-flight entertainment screens, gate information display ads, print ads, and digital LED billboards.
  • Developed and implemented system for input of creative requests through an intranet web form that automatically enters into a project tracking system for a team of 6+ designers to track progress. No system of tracking creative requests existed previously.
  • Created and maintain a file sharing server supporting the design team that did not exist previously.
  • Introduced an intranet brand awareness site for Delta that receives 70,000+ pageviews per year to deliver brand guidelines and overall aspects of the brand identity globally.
  • Manage projects from start to finish ensuring adherence to deadline, budget, and project brief.
  • Work with internal and external groups through cross-functional methods promoting successful execution of corporate branding and identity.
